REPORT BUTTON
Someone does not have to be on your friends list in order to report them. Simply click on the person or their name and then follow the rules listed below.
There
are certain things that Wizard101 considers to be a reportable offense
and others that we think should be but are not (bullying.) This is a list from the
Wizard 101 Message Boards.
This information is readily available on the Help & Support section of the website.
We appreciate that our players want to make Wizard City the best it can be, and we've placed the tools in your hand to report players for inappropriate behavior. We ask that you use the reporting feature to identify truly egregious behavior, such as creative profanity (swearing around the filters), solicitation of usernames/passwords, predatory threats, racist comments and other such actions as outlined in the Terms of Use. The old story of “the kid that cried wolf” has a lot of bearing in this situation and we trust that all reports received by players are valid and require support intervention.
Because false reporting can be construed and/or used as harassment of other players, we’d like to take a moment to ensure you are aware of what does NOT fall under the category of a reportable offense:
“S/he falsely reported me” or reporting someone for false reporting (2 wrongs don’t make a right)
“Won’t leave my house” (pick your friends wisely and avail yourself of the non-porting option)
“Being rude” (We’re sorry, we can’t enforce good manners. Use the ignore button liberally &/or change realms. It’s wholly up to you to choose to stay around someone that’s not nice to you.)
“Chain Stunning” (admittedly, it’s not much fun for the receiving team, but it’s not a violation of the game rules).
“Scamming” (KingsIsle will NEVER ask for treasure card(s) in exchange for a code. Trading “cards for codes” is done at the players’ own risk. Codes are either fully public or one time use)
“Spamming” (Although the Terms of Use mention spamming, it’s related to email/web posts. Yeah, it’s annoying in game and never of profound statement. Refer to “Being Rude”).

If
something you are witnessing falls into the REPORTABLE OFFENSES
category, then by all means, click on the player or their name and then
click report. A box will then open.
Type a Short explanation, Swearing, Asking for Password, etc. Then send the report.
IMPORTANT: THE PERSON BEING REPORTED WILL BE IMMEDIATELY WARNED. They will know that they've been reported and if you're the only one around they will know that you reported them. If
you report someone it is best to Ignore them as soon as you send the
report. Otherwise, they will likely say some nasty things. They
will more than likely report you as well, however, don't worry about
that as long as you've done nothing wrong nothing will happen to you. A
chat log of the conversation leading up to the report will be sent with
the report to the Game admins and they will be able to see what was said
and why the person was reported. When they report you, it is a false
report and counts against them, not you. You should not report them again, the admins will sort it out. I know this to be true because it has happened to me. Also, if you PVP expect to be reported, especially if you win.
Oddly enough once you get out of the lower level worlds, mostly Wizard City, you won't need to worry about this. I guess because the people in the other worlds are serious players who are paying members they're focused on the game and not goofing off. There are occasions but they are few and far between. The absolute worst place to be in the middle of these offenses is in the Wizard City commons.

Thank you Taryn, I was falsely reported and I am following your advice.

Nice guide/info. Sometimes I think certain scams should be a reportable offense, like when the deal is reasonable and other person just decides to not hold up their end of the bargain.
