Pets, where do i get one?

WELL..... Lots of places. LOL! 

They come with Prepaid cards that you can redeem for crowns or monthly membership.

They come with bundle cards. 

They come from Packs in the Crown Shop. 

They come from Drops from bosses. 

They come from Hatching. 

They Come from Quests. (You get free School specific pets at levels 48, 58, and 78)

You can purchase special pets with PVP and Pet Derby Tickets.

And you can buy them from Vendors around the spiral, Gold and Crowns.

And while you may not have many now, let me assure you, eventually, you'll have so many pets you won't know what to do with them all! 

What do pets do? 

Well, it depends on the pet. When you train your pet in the pet pavilion, they gain talents as they level from baby to Mega. Some are helpful in battle, by offering boosts. Others are able to heal you on their own, or shield you, or give you an extra blade.

How do my pets get those Talents?

A pets talents are decided the minute that the Egg hatches into a pet. You have no control over what talents they will get it or not get, though you can try to get certain talents by hatching. Each FIRST GENERATION pet has a CHANCE of getting a specific list of talents. You can find out what talents they have by googling Wizard101 Pet And the Pet's Name Like this

 Some pets do ALWAYS get certain talents at a certain level, but not ALL pets get the SAME talents. For instance, not every pet can heal you. Even though you see another pet just like yours do it, doesn't mean that your pet will have that talent.  A great pet guide is available here. It may take some time to load as it is illustrated and VERY detailed. 

The Pet that you want is completely up to you, though pets that offer boosts for your school or global boosts are best.
